Opt In is a commitment to the declared writing cycle. While an active opted-in cycle overlaps a date, the shared calendar will not allow you to declare an absence for that date. If an emergency changes your availability, contact your Branch Head; only an administrator can release a locked Opt In through an emergency Opt Out.
